(NASDAQ: RILY), will host its 2019 Commissions for Charity Day event on Wednesday, May 22, 2019. All commissions generated by B. Riley FBR’s trading desk on May 22nd will be donated to the Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation.
Established in 2009 by boxing legend and six-time world champion Sugar Ray Leonard and his wife Bernadette, the Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation supports life-changing pediatric type 1 and 2 diabetes research and care. The Foundation also strives raise awareness for programs that help children lead healthier lives through diet and exercise.

Riley FBR is once again partnering with the Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation to host the 10th Annual “Big Fighters, Big Cause” Charity Boxing Night on May 22nd in connection with its 20th Annual Institutional Investor Conference. This exclusive event has served as a unique networking and philanthropic opportunity for the past decade. Conference attendees will have an opportunity to join legendary boxing champion, Sugar Ray Leonard, and other celebrity guests for an evening filled with riveting boxing matches and charitable auctions. Proceeds from the event are donated to the Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation. More than $500,000 was raised in 2018. This year’s event will be held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, emceed by actor and comedian, Bill Bellamy.
