LOS ANGELES, Nov. 20, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Great American Group Advisory & Valuation Services, LLC (“Great American”), a leading provider of advisory and valuation services, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of B. (NASDAQ: RILY), announced today that Neil Axler has joined as Managing Director of the firm’s Real Estate practice within its Corporate Advisory and Valuations Services division. He is based in the firm’s New York office.

Mr. Axler brings more than two decades of valuation consulting experience in individual assets and portfolios of income-producing commercial and industrial properties. In his new role, Mr. Axler will be responsible for enhancing GA’s Real Estate solutions platform and expanding the firm’s market reach.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Axler served as a Director in the Valuation Advisory division at Stout and served as a Director and Northeast Practice leader for RSM’s real estate valuation consulting group. Additionally, he has served in leadership positions at FMV Opinions, Deloitte, and Arthur Andersen. Throughout his career, Mr. Axler has inspected and managed a number of assignments in most metropolitan areas in the U.S. and U.S. Territories, and he has appraised numerous commercial property types around the world. His experience includes transaction advisory, acquisition and financing due diligence, land use and marketability studies, appraisal review and concurrence, and project feasibility.
