B. RILEY Expands Investment Banking Group, Announces Sales & Trading PromotionsLOS ANGELES, Sept. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- B. Riley & Co., LLC, (B. The firm made the following announcements today:  

Sales & Trading Department 

• Andy Moore has been promoted to Senior Managing Director, Head of Capital Markets, responsible for the Research, Sales and Trading departments as well as the Corporate and Venture Services Group. Mr. Moore most recently served as Managing Director, Head of Institutional Equity Sales. He joined B. RILEY in 2006 and is located in B. RILEY's Los Angeles headquarters.
• Eric Rajewski has been promoted to Managing Director, Head of Institutional Equity Sales. He was serving as Managing Director, San Francisco Institutional Equity Sales. Mr. Rajewski joined B. RILEY in 2011 and will continue to work out of B. RILEY's San Francisco office.

Investment Banking Department 

• Patrick Nguyen joins as Director in the firm's Investment Banking Group. He comes to B. RILEY from BDO Capital Advisors, where he was Senior Vice President Investment Banking, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and finance restructurings. Earlier, Mr. Nguyen was at Alvarez & Marshal, where he specialized in restructurings, and still earlier at Booz Allen Hamilton.  Mr. Nguyen holds an MBA from Cornell University Johnson Graduate School of Management.
• Chobun Hieblinger joins as a Vice President, Investment Banking. Prior to B. RILEY, he worked at RBC Capital Markets, where he was Vice President Investment Banking. Earlier, Mr. Hieblinger was Vice President Investment Banking at Barclays Capital. He developed an expertise in the Energy industry while at Constellation Newenergy, Inc. and AES Corp. Still earlier, he focused on the Utilities industry while at A.T. Kearney, Inc. Mr. Hieblinger earned his MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.
